Below is information about programs available to help in installing residential wind, as well as considerations when installing a residential wind turbine in Vermont.

Vermont Clean Energy Development Fund - Wind Incentives
In July, 2006, the Vermont Clean Energy Development Fund authorized an additional $500,000 to the Vermont Solar and Small Wind Incentive Program for incentives for renewable energy systems.

Vermont Anemometer Loan Program
The mission of this program is to provide anemometer (wind measurement) equipment to Vermont residents who are considering the installation of small wind systems on their property.

Small Wind Incentive Program
The program provides incentives for qualifying small wind systems, as well as solar electric and solar hot water systems. $581,000 is available for this incentive program.
